Visitor Guidelines (updated: September 25, 2020)

Please take a look at NFAJ’s visitor guidelines and infection prevention measures before your visit.


・All visitors will have their temperature taken at the door using a contactless thermometer. Please note that entry will be refused if you have a temperature of 37.5°C (100°F) or higher.

・Please refrain from visiting NFAJ if you meet any of the following criteria:

   -You have a fever of 37.5°C (100°F) or higher.

   -You have cold symptoms such as coughing, sore throat, sneezing, or runny nose.

   -You are in poor physical condition.

   -You have seen a doctor or taken medicine in the last fourteen days due to fever or other cold symptoms.

   -You have traveled to any region or country with high incidence of COVID-19 in the last fourteen days.

・Please note that we may restrict entry to avoid crowding.

・Please clean your hands frequently either by washing with soap or using hand sanitizer.

・Please wear a mask and practice proper etiquette when coughing.

・Please refrain from speaking loudly.

・Please try to keep a distance of at least one meter from other people.

・Please refrain from eating and drinking in the building (capped beverages are allowed).

・Please mark down the date and time of your visit to facilitate tracking down visitors in case an infection occurs at NFAJ.

・Please notify the staff if you feel sick during your visit.

・We recommend downloading the COVID-19 Contact App (COCOA).(updated: September 25, 2020)

NFAJ's Infection Prevention Measures

・We try to maintain social distancing in the building by removing chairs from the lobbies, using floor markers, etc.

・We are installing acrylic sheets at reception counters.

・Our employees monitor their body temperature, sanitize their hands, and wear gloves, masks and face shields.

・We regularly disinfect frequently touched objects like door knobs, display cases in the gallery, and the wheelchairs and strollers we offer for loan.

・The smoking room on the 1st floor will be closed for the time being.(updated: September 8, 2020)

・We make sure the building is properly ventilated.

・Should a COVID-19 carrier be discovered at NFAJ, we will share the information on our website.
