Visitor Guidelines (Updated: December 12, 2020)

Please familiarize yourself with NFAJ’s visitor guidelines and infection prevention measures before your visit.


・Please note that entry to NFAJ will be refused in the following cases:

   -You have a fever of 37.5°C (100°F) or higher.

   -You are not wearing a mask (except for children under 2 years old).(Updated: December 12, 2020)

・Please refrain from visiting NFAJ if you meet any of the following criteria:

   -You have cold symptoms such as coughing, sore throat, sneezing, or runny nose.

   -You have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been instructed to stay home by your doctor. (Updated: November 12, 2020)

   -You are in close contact with someone who has tested positive for the virus or you are currently waiting for your test result. (Updated: November 12, 2020)

   -You have seen a doctor or taken medicine due to fever or other cold symptoms in the last 14 days.

   -You have traveled to any region or country with high incidence of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

・Please note that we may restrict entry to avoid crowding.

・Please clean your hands frequently either by washing with soap or using hand sanitizer.

・Please keep talking to a minimum throughout your visit. (Updated: December 12, 2020)

・Please try to keep a distance of at least one meter from other people, especially when entering and exiting the cinemas. (Updated: November 12, 2020)

・Please refrain from eating and drinking in the building (capped beverages are allowed).

・Please mark down the date and time of your visit to facilitate tracking down visitors in case an infection occurs at NFAJ.

・Please notify the staff if you feel sick during your visit.

・We recommend downloading the COVID-19 Contact App (COCOA).(updated: September 25, 2020)

NFAJ's Infection Prevention Measures

・We try to maintain social distancing in the building by removing chairs from the lobbies, using floor markers, etc.

・We are installing acrylic sheets at reception counters.

・Our employees monitor their body temperature, sanitize their hands, and wear gloves, masks and face shields.

・We regularly disinfect frequently touched objects like door knobs, display cases in the gallery, and the wheelchairs and strollers we offer for loan.

・The smoking room on the 1st floor will be closed for the time being.(updated: September 8, 2020)

・We make sure the building is properly ventilated.

・Should a COVID-19 carrier be discovered at NFAJ, we will share the information on our website.
